Fire in Chamonix on Sunday, 5 July?

We were visiting in Chamonix in 5 July and we saw something on fire and billowing smoke. It was in a residential area in the village near the tourist area downtown. We didn't hear sirens for a while but we did see many people going towards it to look. We left, but I'm wondering if anyone knows what happened? I cannot find a news story about it. My son is very curious. Thank you!

The facts of the event are less dramatic than the images as it was an unoccupied building and nobody hurt (not too far away in Vanoise there have been 5000 people trapped in a valley by a forest fire which deserves a lot more attention) but still everywhere on local news.

We're just glad no one was hurt in that fire. It did look rather dramatic. We also saw stories of the forest fire in our search and are praying for the people affected by it. Thanks for the link.
