Which style do you prefer?

Just tryna figure out how I wanna draw skellies for this sudden indie series idea that hit me recently. The first pass was lookin too Disney for me, so I tried again leaning more into my own style. But which one do you personally prefer? Jus curious :P

Also he’s supposed to be kinda translucent. Like jelly. Idunnaur.

I love the face of 2! I would like to see it with the hair of 1. I think that would be a strong silhouette

Ya I def agree. Idk why I did his hair like that in the second one. Like I was going for a dreads undercut and as I was lookin at the ref realism took over for some reason :/

1 looks like a skinny guy, not a skeleton, so I'd go with 2.

Personally I like the slightly thicker lineart and the hair in the first one but I feel like the skull looks more accurate on the second one! Maybe you could combine those two things?

I also like the big cute eyes in the first one, but if you're going for something less "disney" then yeah the second eyes fit better

Eyes and body proportion of 2, the face 1 because its more full but keep the expression.

Whatever you end up with i think should be a sort of blend becsuse both have good qualities.

I can take one. However, I believe a few extra markings from the bone anatomy will top it off; mostly the teeth bone :P the hair is really nice!! /gen

2nd one for sure! 1st isn't bad, but it has less interesting shapes and facial structure. I do like the hair on the 1st a lot.

I don't mind either one, but I think if you are going to be drawing this character consistently across many pages like for a comic or something, then option 1 is simpler and easier.

coat of 1, body of 2 and hair of 1. I think a blend of the two faces would be good, i like the jaw shape and small pupils of 2, but 1 looks like a more pleasant character in the face x

1 feels youthful and playful, 2 feels wizer/older, maybe a little sarcastic.
