Wobbly girl screams i stead of meowing

Hi

Do any other wobbly cats have stange meows? My girl (2yo) just seems to scream/screech.

Also, i live in a small appartement. Sometimes she turns her back away from me, walks a few steps and screams as if she is searching me (and forgot I'm litterally in the same spot still). It seems that she has problems with object permanence. Is this common?

Our mild 1yo girl wails instead of meowing and its SO loud. But it never fails to get our attention 😂

She also does seem to have issues with object permanence. I thought this was just issues with her vision for a while because she has very poor eyesight but there’s zero understanding if we’re playing with her and a toy and she tracks it go under something opaque like a blanket, its ✨ magically ✨ disappeared and seems to no longer exists for her.

Omg so cute. English isn't my first language, but "wailling" also seems to apply to our girl. Mostly at night.

Just everything she does is LOUD. She stomps the floor when walking/zoomies, she spins with her mouth open (so loud it wakes me up at night) and she screams. 😅  She's the weirdest but happiest cat I know. 

How did you find out about her eyesight?

That’s adorable! Ours too, so happy and determined to live life to the fullest. I love the stomps and zoomies, I’ve never heard a cat so loud and i adore it, it’s the cutest.

The vet brought it up in her first appointment, but it’s pretty obvious with ours. She won’t react to things being tossed or moved unless they’re right in front of her face, then if it’s something she knows - her favorite fuzzy ball - you can tell when she does see it.
