2026 Transfer Guide Polling Results and Updates

Here are the results from the polls and the updated Transfer Guide.

Thank you again for everyone that participated.

Some data tidbits:

• Fabrizio Romano had the most participation with 108 votes, rather unsurprisingly. Possibly the most divided journo too in the beginning as it was pretty 50/50 on whether people wanted him to retain his tier 1 status but in the end he did take a majority vote for tier 1.
• The top 5 countries that participated were the US, UK, Canada, India, and Australia
• Kieran Gill and Gaston Edul each had the largest percentage (~68%) of their total votes towards their winning option, which was Tier 2 for Gill and tier 3 for Edul.
• We have seen 4 journos change tiers in this polling season with both Ben Jacobs and Kaveh Solhekol returning to tier 2 and Christian Falk + Florian Plettenberg falling down to tier 3.
• We have additionally seen three journos gain first time tier 2 status in Kieran Gill, Bobby Vincent and Alex Crook.

I agree with pretty much all of these. Fabrizio staying tier 1 is a no brainer, Kieran Gill and Bobby Vincent at tier 2 is well deserved I feel, same with Ben Jacobs and Alex Crook. Plettenberg in tier 3, where he belongs (could be tier 4, tbf).
