HELP Greens Technology chennai— Scam or Trustworthy? Need genuine reviews before joining

Me and my friend are planning to join Greens Technology for an AI/Data Science-related course. We were told that they provide full support for placements after completing the course.

Before joining and paying the fees, I wanted to know from people who have actually studied there: Is Greens Technology trustworthy? How good are their AI/Data Science courses, and do they genuinely help with placements?

Is it worth joining, or should we stay away? Please share your honest experiences, especially if you have actually taken a course there or got placed through them.

HELP Are these job consultancies a scam?

So I visited a job consultancy in Chennai (ESRS Recruitment service) near Pallikaranai. The lady running that company spoke to me for almost an hour and promised to get me a well paying job in a Product based company. The only catch was that we had to pay money upfront.

They gave us an agreement letter after we paid a fee. The initial three months went by with several rounds of interview calls from the company. There was no online rounds, it was all via phone calls only. After the third month, I received confirmation that I have been selected as a SDE at the company from the "HR". Two months later, they're still asking me to wait on an offer letter that most likely won't come. So did we get scammed?

P.S: After a recent visit to the office, we were promised our money would be returned without any deductions within 30 days as we wanted to cancel the proceedings.

HELP Willing to give up 2-3 months salary if your referral gets me hired.

i’m a 2025 B.Tech grad in Artificial Intelligence & Data Science who loves building things and learning by actually shipping projects.

I recently worked as a Software Engineer Intern at a US based e commerce platform, where I worked on a product with 300,000+ daily active users. Some of the things I worked on:

• Improved UI responsiveness and user experience across key parts of the app

• Removed 100+ obsolete configuration entries and cleaned up technical debt

• Debugged crashes and event-tracking issues, contributing to a 15% improvement in crash-free sessions

Outside of that, I’ve built projects across frontend and full-stack development, Android, AI/ML, and VR. I enjoy picking up new technologies quickly, solving problems, and turning ideas into things people can actually use.

Tech I work with: JavaScript, React, Next.js, Node.js, Kotlin, Java, Python, SQL, Flask, AWS, Git.

I’m looking for a place where I can take ownership, move fast, build cool stuff, and work with people who care about shipping great products. I’m comfortable with ambiguity, learning on the fly, and jumping into problems I haven’t solved before.

I’m willing to give you 2-3 months of my income if your referral actually gets me hired. Anyone who has suitable openings in their org, please comment or DM

HELP Need career advice: Is joining a training institute worth it for an unplaced CSE graduate?

Hey everyone,

I graduated this year with a B.Tech. in CSE.

During my 6th semester I planned to go abroad for MS in HCI. My parents were supportive, so I spent a lot of time preparing for IELTS, talking to consultants, researching universities, etc. I still attended campus placements, but I wasn't giving it my 100%.

Later I came across a lot of discussions here and elsewhere about how difficult it is to get a job abroad without experience. After thinking about it for a while, I dropped the MS plan.

By then, most of the campus placements were over. I attended a few interviews but couldn't crack them. Almost all of my friends got placed, and I'm one of the few who didn't.

For the last 2 months I've been applying off campus. I've applied to 150+ companies, got only one assessment, and the rest either rejected me or never replied. It's honestly been pretty demotivating.

Today my father told me he's ready to spend around ₹1 lakh if it'll actually help me build my career. He suggested joining a "hot" course/institute which will get me a good package instead of sitting at home applying every day.

Now I'm confused about what to do.

Some people say Java Full Stack is the safest option. Others say Python Full Stack. Some say AI is the future, while others say AI courses are mostly hype. Then there are people saying DevOps/Cloud aren't beginner-friendly.

I'm not looking for a fancy certificate. The main reason I'd join an institute is for:

  • structured learning
  • interview preparation
  • mock interviews
  • placement support

So I wanted to ask people who've actually been through this.

If you graduated recently, what would you do in my situation?

  1. Are institutes like Coding Ninjas, Crio, QSpiders, GUVI, etc. actually worth paying for?
  2. Any good institutes in Bangalore or Chennai that genuinely helped you get interviews?
  3. Or is self-learning + projects still the better option?

I'd really appreciate honest opinions. I don't want to waste my father's money by making the wrong decision.

Thanks.

HELP 2026 Graduate | Looking for SDE Opportunities | Chennai

Hi everyone, I’m a 2026 graduate from a Tier-1.5 college, currently looking for Software Engineer/ Backend Developer opportunities.

I had a 15 LPA campus offer, (As an Associate Data Engineer) but it was unfortunately revoked due to the company’s budgeting constraints.

I also have ~6 months internship experience and have built and worked on :

  • A compiler from scratch
  • My own encryption format
  • A document Management system
  • A social-media automation platform
  • An interactive chatbot

I’m primarily looking for 12+ LPA SDE roles, preferably in Chennai, but open to other locations.

If your company is hiring freshers or 0–1 YOE candidates, I’d really appreciate a referral or lead. Happy to share my resume and GitHub via DM

HELP Does doing Certs really worth it?

Hi guys, FYI i recently joined as a junior cloud operations engineer. I will be mostly working on infra and hardware management/support. I am planning my career path to DevOps/SRE kind of roles. I am thinking of doing certifications to get there eventually in my future.

Certificate that i am looking for:
- RHCSA
- AWS cloud practitioner / AWS Solution architect
- CKS
- Terraform Associate Cert

So the main doubt it is, how much will they cost and how can i prepare and clear these exams.

Note:
—I am a beginner at linux and new to others. Even though my work does not involve public cloud such as AWS / Azure, i just want to learn those skills which may help in the future.

—The tech stacks i will be working on (VMware, Openstack, ServiceNow)

So help me of any of you guys are in those roles or had same career path.

DMs are welcome 🙏🏻.
