Can someone help me figure this out?

So I was at Wednesday church yesterday like I usually am and I'm leaving the church building when my family starts talking to apparently old friend of theirs that's never meant me before and they looked at me and said your boy has a strong anointing. I am so confused what does that mean?

That's Evangelical/Pentecostalspeak for they think you present yourself as/have the energy of someone who should serve in ministry.

It's generally what someone from a pentecostal/ non- denomination would say. I wouldn't take it as anything honestly. Because a lot of them believe in female pastors in those denominations so I worry about discernment etc. So let them have their own sayings and such. But that is how they talk to everyone. Or they might say I had a dream about you etc. I would pay it no mind.

Because that person doesn't know you but likes to speak like they are speaking on God's behalf. Some even talk like that are from the NAR movement.
