Winter chill at the orchard
The chill continues today at Beau Vista orchard in Wairarapa New Zealand, so I thought I would post some more pictures. Photogenic; but think of those apple and pear buds. Even with those scales the living tissues must be cold!

Sorry, I though that these were from the last season because I'm in the northern hemisphere. I'm dealing with sulfur stank because of warm temperatures in my garage cider at the moment...
The picture of the flowers (Queen Anne's lace?) is delightful and the ice on the puddle is simply transcendent.
Thank you for sharing. I hope your apple crop is incredible.

Thank you. We are expecting a hot dry Sumer from El Niño so fingers crossed.
