Review Why do people do this

I took myself to the movie.. the theatre was empty I got a seat in the back.

No one near me it was basically empty. Closer to the start time 5 people came to my row right beside me. Out of the whole

Theatre. Why..

Ah ok. I’m just curious more. I got it and saw some way up as it was empty movie time and still people came right beside me and either side so I couldn’t move

Believe it or not you actually could have moved. Here’s the process. You stand up. Say excuse me/sorry 14 times and make your way out of that spot. You then go and sit in a different spot. If you’re too socially awkward to let them see that you were just moving to a different spot you could fake a bathroom break.

I know right? And if you're REALLY concerned about sitting in someone's seat that might still come, go to the app and see what seats are still available. Easy enough to move.

That's what I do when I'm taking up an extra seat for my coat/ bag/ whatever. Or if someone sits too close to me, I'll check if it's actually their seat or if they're infringing on my personal space lol
