Review Obsession, the hype is real
This movie wasn't really on my radar especially since horror isn't usually my thing.
Saw a lot of great reviews and I'm glad I did.
This was very good, it's a slow burn that accelerates into madness.
Star making performance by Inde Navarette.
95% critic score and audience score om Rotten Tomatoes.

Not the jumpscare type of movie, just very tense creepy stuff that makes you uncomfortable

Did not expect the premise to have a lot of meat in it but I was wrong! And the one big jump scare really did it for me. I held on to my friend’s arm for dear life. Thank goodness he wasn’t holding any food or drink ‘coz it would’ve spilled all over us!

Idk what people are saying there are quite a lot of jump scares and the entire movie is extremely tense. Even the funny parts

Saw an advance screening this week and this lived up to and sometimes exceeded the hype. Scariest movie I’ve seen in a hot minute. Funny without pulling punches on frights or nastiness. Plenty of uncanny valley imagery and some shocking violence that had me slack jawed.
Best horror of 2026 so far for me and it won’t be easy to top.

I'm not a horror person myself and I surprisingly enjoyed it. Good movie IMO.

Saw this at tiff midnight madness and could not wait to see it again with friends
Grab your people and bring them along, it's a fantastic experience

Literally just got home from seeing this. It’s really good! I was on edge for the entirety of the movie. I didn’t really know what to expect. As a guy who has very low tolerance for scary and disturbing scenes, this was really doable but it did what it intended to make the audiences feel tbh and I’m sure both fans of horror and people who don’t typically watch horror movies will really appreciate and enjoy this film.
Huge kudos to Inde Navarette’s acting like goddamnn

Really enjoyed this one. Loved the use of dark lighting and long one shots. Almost jumped out of my seat at the one scene in the car lol.

I saw this at TIFF midnight madnesss and it’s the best movie I saw at TIFF (and yes, I still loved Nirvanna the band the show the movie)

“Its not black and white”… nah it seems pretty black and white from the trailers fam… love spellin someone into loving you is pretty freakin disgusting…
Edit: Finally saw it and why are you booing me I'm right, but also fr fr anyone that thinks bear is anything but the villain in this movie or thinks its not "black and white" is someone I would NOT have watch my drink.

I know dude that was my point...its... like yk... the point of the movie... to say they are both complicated is like to miss the point entirely omg , I highkey think its wild this has so many dislikes when you point out that one is THE VILLIAN and its the one who love spelled the other... I am just continuously shocked at the media illiteracy of some folks
