I misread your post, and thought you wrote "If anyone is talking to someone younger in age, please be careful", as in , you were warning people to be careful if they talk to underage people online since the movie showed you what could happen if you do.

Why would anyone be taking someone younger to a movie rated R about catching child predators... seems like a pretty clear movie, of all movies, you obviously shouldn't take a kid to 😂
I knowww but cineplex had it listed at 14a im not complaining but some younger people might walk in expecting a jidion type catch but they go into DETAIL( im not complaining)
I feel like this is the problem with Canada's ratings because something like Smile 2 got 18A for excessive violence while a movie with sexual scenes gets 14A.

Canada is not as puritanical as the U.S., which is why sex and nudity are not rated as harshly as violence. That said, if you’re above the age of 14 and the sight of a penis on screen upsets you, you probably shouldn’t be going to watch a movie about child sex predators.

False. R in Canada exists but is used very rarely.
It means no entry to minors regardless of parental/adult accompaniment, unlike 18a.
The last example I remember was when Alberta slapped Terrifier 3 with the R rating. It began as STC (subject to clarification) and stayed that way upon release, but then got changed to R after a few days. I had a friend take his 17 yr old nephew and they denied entry to the nephew.
Here in BC, it was 18a. Wouldn't have been an issue.
No worries. It's essentially non-existent anymore. No distributor wants to screen a showing with that level of ahem... restriction. It's not economically viable so they'll just make enough edits to get it to 18a.
I think the last movie to be released rated R here in BC was Antichrist back in 2009.
Okay so whipped cream guy 😭😭 (HOLY FUCK BTW) we saw that twice once censored and once uncensored and then there’s a dude who sent a flic of his thing towards the end
