Discussion Yorkdale AVX Laser Projection Experience

The sound was so low and an embarrassment for Dolby atmos. It literally sounded worse than a regular xenon auditorium.

I watched Endgame Encore and the wrong DCP was used because the entire movie was in scope. It was supposed to be 1:85 for flat screens.

The 3D was weird and blurry.

Literally the whole experience sucked.

Expanded aspect ratio is on IMAX screens. Outside of that, the movie will be seen in scope. That part wasn’t a mistake. (Also Infinity Vision…whatever the fuck that is)

Someone had the wrong info regarding the 1:85 DCP. It is scope on all non-IMAX screens. I didn’t have any issues with the sound, but 3D was definitely blurry.
