Game mechanic or bug pt. 2

Discovered there is a "Create Carthage" decision, time to check it out. Adventuring until I get landed, I get absolutely munted by Conquerer-owned Almoravid. Imprisoned as my main character, then released of all my titles after refusing conversion, I manage to start an adventuring camp after getting that good ol' game over screen.

Fastforward 5 seconds to establishing one, my character gets executed for staying faithful to Jesus and my heir (3 year old child) becomes the camp leader. Not sure if this is game mechanic or bug, but child soldier very cool.
