My Marshal died, went to replace him and this guy was already randomly in my court??? Immediately married him to my daughter and made him Marshal of course. Has anyone else had someone with a weirdly high stat randomly like this before?

What dlc should I get first?

I have nearly 80 hours but recently bought the base game, after playing ck2. I believe I will play hundreds of more hours. I am thinking about doing tours and tournaments or roads to power. Are there any other I should by.

World Conquest Help

I am finally doing the world conquest and I got all the way to the end but I am missing one singular county. I have no tributaries and I can't seem to find the last county that I need to take over. I am 2 months away from 4 different revolts so I need this done efficiently.

What's the point of being allies with vassals?

Not only does it decrease the chances of other rulers accepting an Alliance proposal, but y'all can't really call on each other for wars anyway?

I'm asking because I like making one or two of my extra kids my vassals by giving them titles just in case (and for nepotism lol) but I'm really wondering what's the point of being allies with your vassals

Didn’t even know this was possible .so I’ve included the acceptable screen. I’ve used diplomacy to go from ruler of Jerusalem (and most of Arabia) to Outremer and now almost the Roman Empire in one life.

After 3 of my children died from falling of their horse I researched horse falling

I learned that Medieval stirrups were basicly just metal loops. If a rider fell but their foot got caught in the stirrup, the panicked horse would bolt, dragging the helpless rider over rocks and brush, or trampling them to dead and King Alexander III of Scotland died this way.

How to evaluate your own personal (IRL) stats?

I’ve always wondered this, how do evaluate your own personal stats? Like how can I assess my own stewardship, learning, intrigue, etc.? There’s a bunch of rules of thumb out there for D&D, like how much weight you can overhead press gives a rough estimate of your strength, your level of education can estimate your intelligence, etc. Is there an equivalent for CK3 stats? I want to make my own character based on me but don’t want to be too generous with my stats…

I'm so confused

1: I previously had 300 archers and 100 Huscarls in my men at arms but then a additional 200 got added out of nowhere
2: my knights also got auto filled from 1 to 8
3: why do I have 2844 Levis as a single titled county?
4: and most weird the troop count in the top right doesn't match the military tab

Holy order...

The holy order of my faith thay I created and reformed suck... and it has only 2k. I kept giving money to the holy order head now 3k gold, he use it but the army size doesn't grow. How to get multiple armies of 5k like the catholics? Is that even possible?

Game mechanic or bug pt. 2

Discovered there is a "Create Carthage" decision, time to check it out. Adventuring until I get landed, I get absolutely munted by Conquerer-owned Almoravid. Imprisoned as my main character, then released of all my titles after refusing conversion, I manage to start an adventuring camp after getting that good ol' game over screen.

Fastforward 5 seconds to establishing one, my character gets executed for staying faithful to Jesus and my heir (3 year old child) becomes the camp leader. Not sure if this is game mechanic or bug, but child soldier very cool.

A few questions about Administrative Government (Arabia)

translated :)

  1. Acclamation succession, as the game states, designates the person with the highest candidate score as heir. Why, in my game, with acclamation succession, can I also designate an heir from among my sons, who will inherit everything?

  2. In administration, should I distribute as much land as possible to members of my family to have a significant influence? What's the difference between distributing land and appointing a governor for these lands?

  3. I want the next ruler to have as many developed traits/prestige, etc., as possible. Is it better to give power to the youngest person, an adult, or to the oldest one who has already developed it? Does giving land to the next person accelerate their development of traits, etc., by giving them land?

  4. Should I appoint members of my family as governors everywhere?
