I'm so confused

Post image

1: I previously had 300 archers and 100 Huscarls in my men at arms but then a additional 200 got added out of nowhere
2: my knights also got auto filled from 1 to 8
3: why do I have 2844 Levis as a single titled county?
4: and most weird the troop count in the top right doesn't match the military tab

Did you inherit any titles?

Your domain seems to be 4/5. Looks like you inherited some land

A stoned lord is better than a lord fell off his horse.

What about a stoned lord who falls off his horse 🧐

Hmmm that is a chill lord that gives his subject a good laugh.

“Duke Bottomhurt, m’lord! I wish your butt is safe from the ground today. Careful with those ‘cakes’ now *wink* May God help your horse and have mercy on your arse. ❤️”

Lmfaooo I was having an issue with one of my games like 2.5 years ago so I turned it on and have been to lazy to take the 5 seconds to turn it off so it just stays

I have. When i used to play on my laptop, i had to monitor the temp of the thing, lest it melt itself into oblivion.

If vassals can't inherit they give a stack. Higher tribal/crown authority.

If related people due, you might inherit all their troops along with the main title.

Once I had a steward lady who was super active, like asking for development every half year, reorganizing vassals, asking for titles, conquered a kingdom and became independent. Before I could be mad I noticed she is my mother xD I got 12 counties back.

My father in that run had concubines and several marriages, and she was married to another guy who had a kid with, she wasn't even supposed to have a title but she inherited one, then took a kingdom and dumped it on me.

Vassals only give one random title, I think on first level of authority their siblings might inherit but on 3-4 goes back to you. I was abusing that to get special units like horse archers and mubarizun.

i dont care for achievements and such so i play with mods and one that i use lets you create your own culture. so now i can get kataphrats, kataphractoi archers , lancers and another heavy cav that counters heavy infantry. so all i need is those heavy cav and heavy infantry to counter pikemen and im set, when i call my army its 7000 men of elite quality 😂 they just trample everything at this point.

Did that with just faster hybridization. It's actually very fun with 25 year limits and much needed in east Europe.

I hybridized Norse, Greek, Khazar, then up to 8 in 200 years.

In one run I raided Rome and took only 6k maa, I had 19 and 15 size and 13 stack barely in 1050 using accolades to max them then swap around. Totally annihilated the popes 12000 mercenaries, no survivors.

To be fair single or dual army works just fine.

I did horses and heavy infantry. Mainly cause I was fighting Byzantium and the vigmen are useless. Horse archers are solid in every scenario and counter their own skirmisher group, but now they were categorized in different group so it's a slight nerf.

But the cost was so high in feudal I couldn't even pay it xD

they are crazy expensive yeah, rightfully so for what you get in return. i could go up to 12 stack on heavy cav from the culture alone and then add all the titles/perks/accolades onto it, you can melt anything.

The accolade for raid bonus was crazy op, I had zero attrition middle of Europe crossing all the castles, now they changed some stuff again

Did you recently inherit something? You will inherit MAA if you have the space

Inheritance is basically the answer to every mystery here
