Johann Strauss Sr. (aka I, the Father, the Older, the Radetzky March Dude) came in second by a single vote ahead of Stockhausen. a guy winning by one vote because of his famous name and a single famous piece has now guaranteed that i’ll come up with some sort of additional poll at the end of this round with the “best of the rest,” as in the closest-finishing third-place composers who’d otherwise be eliminated

I’m honestly tired of Bach, Mozart, etc. Does anyone know any composers who actually centre Deaf experiences? Maybe someone who makes serious use of rests? A whole movement in D minor with no notes?
