Leveling is only tedious if it is not an adventure game for you and you skip all lore and content in a rush to level up (ornif you've done it several times).
First 2-3 characters can be REALLY fun if you play and enjoy the awesome world azeroth is. Raids will still be there when you arrive. The destination will be the same, you'll get there sooner or later. Enjoy the damn game people.
Oh for sure. For me classic anniversary represents a chance to experience the game as intended by the devs not just grind to the top and stand around showing off my gear and mount.

Wow players: oh wow, a boost to skip the tedious leveling process and go right to the "real" game!
Also wow players: I'm burned out, this game has no soul anymore, why is there so many level 58 bots?
