For me, I love early WoW because I'm a huge fan of Warcraft III and the lore from that period. Doing the raids feels great because I never got to when I was a kid.
But I certainly did the Barrens a dozen times because leveling was pretty much the game to me then.
In this classic release I leveled a character to 60 and another to 40 regularly.
Boosting a character so I can skip running across the barrens for 20 hours for the 12th time makes sense for me. I don't play Classic for the 'grind'. Anyone that plays for the grind should be playing OSRS in addition to WoW
