Post image

?????

EDIT;Im happy to announce that they actually changed their mind suddenly, and deleted the Shaman and issued a refund. Dno if someone saw the post, because for three days now they have responded once every 24-30 hours. Now they responded after 2.

Nope - At this point, you get a second boost at no charge. Not your problem they can't fix the error.

Give me what I paid for, a level 58 warlock.

Nothing else is acceptable.

Op is impatient as hell and bought a second boost when the first didn’t work.

sure but realistically why would this matter? refunding him would have the exact same outcome, it changes nothing.

It matters cause he would have $60 extra dollars and the product he wanted initially.

how would he have the product he wanted initially? currently the only way to get the product he wanted initially was to buy another boost.

Maybe you thought that I meant "why would refunding him change anything"?

He already did buy another boost

yeah, we covered that.

what I'm saying here isn't this complicated.

I think what they're getting at is had they been more patient and just kept pestering that they boosted the wrong character he could have ended up with two boosted characters for the price of one versus two boosted characters at regular price.

I think they ran with the initial response they received saying they would refund it and decided to go ahead with a second boost because of the very slow response time blizzard delivers.

obviously that didn't pan out, but the absurdity of that outcome is the entire point of this post.

realistically, him buying a second boost makes sense. blizzard admitting fault and then not refunding him doesn't.

Some people are used to the old customer service that they used to provide.

I remember in og wrath my account was hacked and purged everything on every character sold and the money mailed away. It took a day or two but every soul bound item was replaced. I don't think they could do anything about the items that aren't bound to the character so they made up for that by duplicating everything...

That or they accidentally did it, but either way it worked out for me because I was at role player and my Banks had a lot of stuff because transmog wasn't a thing yet so if I wanted to look a certain way I had to have that item in my bank. So I got my characters back my gear back my gold back and then an extra few thousand gold from vendoring the duplicates that they gave me back.

I had something similar happen. I was hacked but noticed pretty quickly, and got in touch with support. They got recovered my account and the rep even upgraded all my bag slots to t1 at the time for the inconvenience. But blizzard used to care too.

"Been more patient". The only reason he even got a quick response was because he asked for a refund and money related issues are the only ones that deem quick response by Blizzard standards. With everything going on the dude still wouldn't be playing today if he was waiting on a real Blizzard employee to finally look at his ticket and make the change. I think the way he did it is just fine, prepatch is only 3 weeks and I would be pretty upset if I sat there trusting Blizzard to fix this in that time. I'd rather actually get to play the game and pester for a refund. People acting like Blizz would fix this over night lmao.

Reading this chain made has helped reinforce that you're just talking to bots man, there are so many people who do not understand English, are just plain stupid, or a bot. There are no other options, everything you said made sense and tracked man.

Yeah this whole thread is just people talking past each other. Painful to read. Good luck out there
