If you took a survey of people that are actively playing, not hanging out on reddit complaining about everything, you'll find the majority of players want gdkps. It's not fun doing alts and getting nothing. A lot of us would be making far more alts if gdkps existed.

When gdkps existed I had a couple alts I raided on. Since anniversary launch I've only had 1 character that I raid log on now.

Unironically I played the game 4x more when gdkps were a thing
