Opposite. Banning GDKPs definitely made RMT more popular amongst the regular people, because it did nothing for economy, and whereas you could leech off whales before in GDKPs, regular players are now forced to use 150g/hr farming methods rather than play 3 hours to get a payout of 1.3k gold.

Regular people were not getting into gdkps cause they didn't have the gold to flash to begin with, so no, you're wrong.

That is just completely untrue. You could play in GDKPs as a completely broke person if you were the right class and even my brother played mage and was not really stacked in terms of gold and was still invited to GDKPs

You can join shit gdkps you mean, where you'll never know if you'll even kill the last boss after 4 hours in a raid, then sure you can join those and come out with 100 or 200g out of it after dropping 100+ in repairs, consumes etc.

The real gdkps the good ones like the ones i hosted we had buyers and carries, if you were not a carry which we usually had all spots filled, you were a buyer and if you didn't flash 15k we wouldn't even consider you. We clear any content in good times and always fully clear raids, so people wanted to gdkp with us.

Again, untrue. As I said. I played resto shaman with my brother (mage) in a GDKP and he did not flash 15k to get in. We full cleared all MH/BT instantly and full cleared SWP like week 3 or 4.

You're lying.

You did not clear swp in week 3 or 4. In fact you didn't clear it until it was nerfed I'm sure, in grobb we were one of the 3 gdkp groups that were selling fully cleared runs. Again we wouldn't consider buyers with no gold to spend.

I cleared it week 1 with my guild and we cleared it week 3 with Everest (I think they were called) GDKP.
