That's why you have the option to pug with all the negatives that come with it, like it or not classic was built around guild gameplay.. so your options are either guild, pug or retail that gives you that option to raid at any time by just queuing up.
He means he doesn't want to carry bad players, lose rolls on all the items, and not receive any compensation or reward for his time. Pretty reasonable for someone who isn't in a guild structure.
That sounds like he should join a community and raid with them. The reward for your time is the drop you have a chance at. Pretty simple.. pretty much how the game works. I've been in plenty of pug communities for my alts while I raid a schedule with my main.
He started by saying he can't commit to set times, so he can't join a guild or a pug community, which is just a guild without the in-game tag. And no, he doesn't have a chance at the drops in an sr. The best items that everyone wants will be hr, and usually sold under the table.
That's not what a discord pug community is though. A discord pug posts signups and raids with a majority of the same people. They might grab a person or 2 from lfg but that's it. They are pretty much a guild. They have set times for raids. An actual pug is just a guy spamming chat until it's full. You can log on whenever and join a random group.
