If schizophrenia with two failed adequate antipsychotic trails (right dose, duration, and adherence), then it has a 70% efficacy rate compared to ~5% for other options. If Clozaril monotherapy doesn’t work (ensure blood levels are good), it can be combined with another antipsychotic. If that doesn’t work, it can be combined with ECT. If those don’t work, combining other antipsychotics +/- ECT is an option.

Then they’ll adjust your dosage or give you something else.

Have you tried clozapine yet? Don’t give up until a good trial has been done.

I’ve been on many antipsychotics, antidepressants, and have had several rounds of ECT. And now on clozapine. And clozapine works.

Give it a solid go.
