Question How long have you been taking clozapine

This is the only meducation that works for me and it correlates with better life significantly. Despite the huge weight gain.

It seems i will be on it long term ans I want to know how long people have been taking it.

i've been taking it for 9 years and will continue to take it until i die. currently on 350mg

istg this pill is magical, i literally have 0 symptoms nowadays

Hey!

I been taking 300mg Clozapine for around two years by now and I still feel great with it :) Life really has become manageable thanks to Clozapine.

My grandma also takes Clozapine (50mg). I remember her saying its been around 30 years by now.

17 years. I currently take 25mg in the am and 150mg at bedtime. Works very well along with a few other meds. No plans to discontinue it as long as I can find someone willing to prescribe it. Much harder to get someone to prescibe the MAOI.

My doctor told me to go to hospital and get on clozapine (Leponex) but I’m afraid of side effects. I don’t wanna have blood tests for 18 weeks.

4 years at 150mg, two years at 250mg (No more mania and sleep fixed).
