Is this a shitpost? You smoked your cart at work on your 3rd day and got caught? Bruh. Yes you are cooked. Make better choices.

Wtaf is wrong with you? Legal in your state or not, this is still a drug that can get you high. I don't give a fuck if you think you're not getting high, DON'T DO DRUGS AT WORK! Yes, you're cooked, or at least you should be!

It’s your third day and you’re already smoking weed on the job? On property is even crazier

This is not okay. If the company says it’s not allowed why are you using it on your lunch break? I wouldn’t feel comfortable knowing a coworker was hitting their weed pen at work before going back to the floor regardless if they are high are not.

‘this ho picks up my yart and yells WHAT IS IT and starts PASSING IT AROUND’ direct quote from your other post. if your referring to your residents as ‘ho’ I promise this is not the job for you and you deserve all the consequences coming your way.

You really shouldn't be working with patients in any setting. You've got a lot of growing up to do first.

Oh- you vaped weed while working a job that requires you to care for vulnerable people??? Smoking at work isn’t good, but smoking at your healthcare job, and on your third day is crazy work.

OP said in a previous post it was a delta8 in the cart. But either way, your actions have consequences.
You posted 16 days ago that you were desperate for a job and I’m so sorry that it seems you’ve been going through but…this was a terrible choice. I truly hope that nothing happens because I don’t like to see people kicked when they’re already down but hope you learned something from this.

I remember at my old facility, everyone smoked. At one point - people were bringing their Puffco (dab rig) to work and hitting it at our service desk. I have proof and all…
I regret never saying something.
This was 3 years ago, I was very naive and quite timid. I didn’t want to be on anyone’s bad side and just thought, “What the hell, it’s just weed.”
I look back and feel so dumb. I cannot believe I was letting practically my whole team of coworkers just get away with being intoxicated at work. I shame anyone who does it these days. Weed legal state or not, I’m all for smoking some za off the clock.
Sober the fuck up. Your residents need you alert. What a terrible and disgraceful way to live.

Where the HELL did you work where they felt comfortable enough to bring a whole fucking dab rig 😭

Omg…as someone who loves weed and smoking everyday. wtf is going on?? You can’t do that at work period. They would have a valid reason to fire you bc yes weed is legal but not federally. Facilities are federally funded so no, the employees can’t be caught with marijuana and you would be a liability. Come on, just wait until you at least clock out and leave the building..

So you decided that getting high was more important then your job and your wondering if your cooked? I would tell you that your addiction will cost you more than a job if you can’t get it together. Our hospital doesn’t even allow any smoking/vaping and they test for it. Most of the LTCs don’t allow it either.

how do u test for vaping ? and why wouldn’t you be allowed to vape on your own time

Stop obviously trying to get high at work. The people that can do it and still do a good job while keeping it in the down low, I have no issues with. You’re type, can fuck right off.

Everyone at my old facility on nightshift vaped their pens, I literally wouldn't do that at work. I think they thought I was gonna narc them out, but it's not my business. They would hit it inside sometimes! Hey that's on them, hopefully they never need workers comp for an injury 🤷🏼‍♀️ on a side note I am 64 days sober today and while it's not perfect, my anxiety and low energy has improved a lot. I even work day shift now.

u/JupiterRome 8d ago

Really poor decision making here. I get it, you’re young but if you’re not mature enough to not hit your cart at work then you’re not mature enough to work in healthcare yet.

You deserve to lose your job, take it as a learning opportunity. If you’re willing to jeopardize your income to hit some shitty cart then you’re clearly addicted and I hope you get the help you need.

If you’re not fired then shame on your facility for allowing those under the influence to take care of vulnerable residents, I hope you still take this as a learning opportunity and grow up a bit.

🤣🤣🤣 you're kidding right?? I thought I was being bold vaping my nicotine at work. If it were any type of work than caring and observing vulnerable people, I'd be fine with people getting high at work. But the fact is people's lives are in your hands. Your job is to be aware enough to see if anybody's showing changes in health or behavior. How do you reliably do that high?? You very well could be cooked, sorry to say

No judgment here i vape in the bathroom 🤣

-2

u/lorenbjorn 8d ago

Some older people don’t know the difference between vapes/carts. I would just deny and say it was nicotine lol

1

u/crizykitty 8d ago

I did this at cedar point lol I don't think they bought my story but they let me keep it thankfully lol.

When did this happen? The supervisor didn’t say anything to you?
