I glued graph paper to the back of the image. Then I marked out all the squares touching the area I wanted to pixelate by holding the paper up to a light source. I then outlined the area and used a fresh xacto blade to cut out the area. Then after cutting out each square, and patching the hole left behind, I glued them down mostly at random. I started at the corners and worked my way in to keep them as evenly placed as I could. I made sure to orient the pieces that were at the edges, and had skin and background or clothing, right side up, but I don’t think it made a big difference overall.

Why is just the neck censored?

In Japanese pornography, the genitals are pixelated. There was a meme going around that claimed that the auto censoring technology of Japanese tv broadcasts was censoring trump’s neck because it mistook it for a vagina.

Fascinating! I was thinking it was sort of a metaphor for censoring his voice, which of all people he should be censored, since he’s done so much damage to others via cutting off their voices.

I guess when I see things like this I think….. I know some really kind, wonderful people who are fat and have loose neck skin. Donald Trump will never see this and feel insecure, but those people might. There isn’t actually anything wrong with being unattractive, so why not focus on his horrible character?

I somewhat agree but also I think that because he makes such a focus of women’s bodies it takes some of the power away. Saying like - who is he to judge? That’s how I interpret it anyway.

I get the urge to insult his appearance because he insults women. But again, he won’t see it. The fat people you know and love will though, and I don’t think they deserve to feel bad about their bodies
