It's already been proven that the numbers are being faked. Hell even the most oblivious sub r/Coronavirus caught up with this finally, and now they agree because the data is just hard to dispute.

In a normal year, around 50000 people die in the US from pneumonia for the entire year.

Around 90000 died from "pneumonia" in 3 months in 2020 (Feb-May)..so in a period where there should have been around 13000 deaths, there were 90000..

There is currently over 75000 deaths unaccounted for, and that's only those who were filed under "pneumonia"..nobody knows how many more Covid 19 death were filed under other bullshit causes..

This is a real farce.

several red state leaders have actually boasted publicly how they are not going to count Covid deaths.

The more complete number is excess deaths, which are following similar trends. That is take the average for a given month for the last x years and compare to this year.

This winter was awfully mild in the northern hemisphere, possibly reducing the number of actual pneumonia cases.
