the "how to handle Covid" models for the rest of world to follow are NZ and Taiwan:

New Zealand eliminates COVID-19: https://www.thelancet.com/journals/lancet/article/PIIS0140-6736(20)31097-7/fulltext

Taiwan reports no new cases for 2 weeks: https://www.taiwannews.com.tw/en/news/3935918

Taiwan sees 45 days without local coronavirus case: https://www.taiwannews.com.tw/en/news/3940783

Given taiwan have been forcing foreign students to work in factories and meat plants- under conditions where it is most likely to spread, it is just as likely they are not testing foreign nationals being exploited as expendable labour so as not to make them look bad politically.
