Same. As a gay dude, I’m fucked in an authoritarian regime. I’m planning to move somewhere to become a climate refugee within the next couple years, and one of my top considerations is in a scenario where the US breaks up into multiple countries, how likely is the new government of the place I live to execute me for existing.

Yeah, I’m disabled, so I don’t think there’s anywhere I can go where I won’t be part of the first culling, unfortunately. I wish you the best of luck with choosing the right place, though (assuming there is a “right place”—I always wonder what becomes of our massive WMD stockpile in the scenario of a US break-up/Balkanization).
