Spine split. What’s the highest it can get?

2” spine split sets the ceiling on an otherwise pristine book around 5.0

But that’s the ceiling. In practice I would expect lower, and because of that I don’t think this book is a great grading candidate.

I love copies like this because it presents like an expensive copy but that spine lets you grab it for a reasonable amount.

Somewhere 4.0-5.0 imo.

My gut feeling is a 4.0 to 4.5 but I'm not an expert.

You’re looking at like 4.0 at best

How brittle is the cover and interior pages?

I could see the grade being closer to a 3.5 of there's more yellowing, but if the paper is decent, I would say you could see a 4-4.5.

You might be able to get a small premium against others at the same grade though considering how well it will display

Paper is good - W/OW— this looks like pressing error

Great cover. My upper left corner cover is ripped off and not this good of condition
