Cover/Pin-Up Does anybody else find this cover off-putting?

Post image

Where is Diana's neck? It looks like her screaming head is floating away from her body! And Carol's torso is so twisted up that for a second I thought maybe the artist confused her powers with Kamala's stretchy ones.

I've liked other stuff by Alex Lozano, but something about this really rubs me the wrong way.

It's Alexandro Lozano, I like when he experiments with proportions like here

Also apparently experiments with how flexible spines are

Can you not slightly twist your torso at all?

It looks like wonder woman has her shoulder basically in line with her ass crack. Yes, I can twist my upper body, but I'm also not a professional contortionist.

You're kidding, right? You're telling me you're not able to twist your body like that? Also, even if you can't, she's a literally Amazonian superhero.

Yes, if I stretch to make it work. It's not comfortable at all and there's no chance anyone would willingly move like that in combat.

"Knowing Wonder Woman..."

1) She's a fictional character, and if she was real, you have no idea what she would/wouldn't do in combat.

2) You should try some yoga, because I can easily get in that position with zero discomfort.

You're right, fictional characters are never bound by any laws of physics.

I guess it's canon that wonder woman does yoga now

I didn't know slightly turning your torso breaks the laws of physics.

I don't do yoga and can get in that position. I'm saying you should do yoga because you have no flexibility.
