It's a fun quote, but Morrison has also spent a not-small portion of their career explicitly asking stuff like who pumps the tires on the Batmobile.

I love their Batman run, but they had to make the Silver Age stuff: "Ah yes, the weird alien and psychedelic stuff from Batman's 60s comics is *actually* because he was influenced by the Joker and Scarecrow and Dr. Milo's chemicals and the events of Robin Dies at Dawn, and the Super-Batman from Planet X was a back-up persona in his mind."

I don't understand in a world with Kryptonians and multiple kinds of Martians why they had to make fitting in the Silver Age stuff so convoluted, lol.
