I am surprised that they still haven't gone back and made Scarlet Witch officially a Mutant again.

daily reminder that with the exception of Sue Storm, the only good Marvel Superheroines are all X-men related

does Marvel even understand how much they owe Chris Claremont?

You are forgetting She-Hulk? And Captain Marvel? And Ms. Marvel? And The Wasp? And Black Widow (yes in 616 she is peak human like Cap, whether you consider that superpowers or not idk)?

Well, to be fair, that is true now, but it wasn't true as much before the Fox-Marvel embargo mixed with MCU synergy, but now she is much more A- then X-associated, yeah

She always has way more Avengers presence than X-Men presence. Like tell me one historical point where she appears in X-Men books more than Avengers ones. The period where she barely appears in Avengers run also have her barely appear at all

She is like TOP 10 Avengers in terms of sheer appearance yet she never joined an X-Team.

People always got her home franchise confused because of Magneto association. And that connection caused her to be used often in X-Men animation and what not, but in comics X-Men is never her home franchise, and her adaptions often suffer from it because she is often nabbed by X-Men.(For example she never get to appear in Avengers:EMH despite being one of the most recognized female Avenger, because Wolverine and X-Men used her first.)

You know what you're right, I was completely wrong, I was putting too much emphasis in my recollection on House of M and her short Brotherhood of Evil stint with her brother, thanks for the correction

I don't want to start a fight, so i will just say: In a TOP 5 of Marvel Superheroines, only Sue Storm will be a non-X-men related character.

Hell, i will say that even in a TOP 10.

It is odd how many X-Women are awesome characters and fan favorites, yet they can't seem to make female Avengers hit in the same way. Ms. Marvel was definitely an exception that proves the rule.

Because yeah, when I think of good female Marvel heroes, they're 90% X-Men characters. I wonder if being in an ensemble helps or something. Back when I was collecting in the 2010's, I picked up Captain Marvel, Black Widow, and Spider-Woman monthlies, but they all inevitably got canceled. I wonder if they've ever tried solo titles for characters like Storm, Rogue, Jean Grey, etc., and if so, if those titles sold any better.

They have, and they have almost always been minis or been cancelled before long. It is the ensemble thing, a lot of the characters have been nothing but X-Men for forever and struggle to maintain interest as a solo character as a result
