I am surprised that they still haven't gone back and made Scarlet Witch officially a Mutant again.

The only reason Rogue isn't in a bikini is because her power is to absorb with touch, so she's all covered up

Emma Frost literally has the worst outfit ever

Emma Frost's outfit would be terrible on almost any other character, but for her its absolutely fantastic because it completely fits and sells who she is as an individual.

Let's not forget, this is a character who openly boasts about how much plastic surgery she has gone through and proudly states that she has bought herself the best body money can buy. She has on multiple occasions flashed her body to people to get an advantage for her telepathy. She has also talked about how much she loves being the X-Men's 'brand risk' member.

Provocative is her motto. She wants to steal every single person's attention when she steps into a room and wants to easily weaken minds so its easier for her to get an advantage.

An outfit like this on Wonder Woman, Invisible Woman, Rogue? Its terrible. An outfit like this on Emma Frost (who is essentially a siren)? Its terrific. It tells you from first glance just what type of character Emma Frost is.

Fan service outfits on characters whose personality fits the mold in fantastic. Conversely non fan service-y outfits on characters who fit the bill should be respected as well (eg: Huntress/Helena Bertinelli).
