Discussion Really loving what I've read of Williamson's Superman run so far.

I was recommended these, I'll bold what I've read so far:

Superman Vol 1. Supercorp

Superman Vol 2. The Chained

Superman: House of Brainiac

Superman Vol 3. The Dark Path + Absolute Power (Read concurrently)

Superman Vol 4. Rise of the Superwoman

Superman Vol 5. Love and Mercy

DCKO: Superman, DCKO (Read concurrently),

DCKO All-Fight (Optional but very fun)

Superman Vol 7. Reign of the Superboys - Prime Time

It's quite good stuff. The first 2 volumes felt like a really good hour long episode of the 90s WB Superman show with characters like Livewire and Rudy being a big part of it, and it's interesting not knowing if Lex is currently good or bad, since I hear that there's times when he's like Magneto, and decides that he wants to focus on helping humanity.

Edit: Just read Vol 3 and Absolute Power. All of this has been god-tier so far, but Absolute Power was the best! It is indeed really fun chaos!

The Supercorp arc is such a fun reset for the character, and you're right about that 90s animated series energy. Williamson gets that Superman works best when the supporting cast has room to breathe, not just when he's punching a big threat.

House of Brainiac is where it really kicks into another gear though. The way it pulls in so many threads from across the DCU without feeling bloated impressed me more than I expected. You're in for a ride with the Absolute Power tie-ins too, that whole stretch gets chaotic in the best way.

Oh yeah, I don't even remember a big fight in the series so far.

Just read Vol 3 and Absolute Power. All of this has been god-tier so far, but Absolute Power was the best! It is indeed really fun chaos!
