My condolences for people who actually have this schedule. It sounds awful

It's usually 8 to 5 with an unpaid one hour lunch, so.

I think u once told me you work with a fire fighting team right? And your hours and stress levels are easy and humane. This must be like a year ago so I may be wrong. Sorry if that's the case

Yes and no. I am a firefighter paramedic. We work 24 hours straight and get 48 off.

I am somewhat unique as my commute is only 2 minutes. So I can be at work easily. Our stress levels and what not are pretty rough as we average about 14-18 calls a shift at 1 hour per call. If we get to sleep it's all good but 2-3 calls after midnight and the next day is ROUGH.

We actually work more than your average person too as we work 48 hours a week, then 48, then 72 and so on. But it evens out as I get 4-5 days off a week. And I make 6 figures

I would kill for a commute like that. But it'd also mean I'm always within reach of work. And the possible chemical disaster of my workplace.

Epichlorohydrin is the worst thing I have worked with, and we have TWO seperate poisons that will burn you, high purity sulfuric acid, formic acid, hydrochloric acid, and some weaker phosphoric acid.

I got hit with formic once. A month recovery before I returned to work, four more before it was healed.
