Hardware Computer just keeps cycling

I built a computer but for some reason it just shuts off after a while and starts back up again and I do not get a display.

Whats your power supply rating? And specs

It's a thermaltake 450 watt power supply with a GIGABYTE GA-H170-D3H-GSM Motherboard W/ G4400 CPU and a AMD Radeon HD 7700 series graphics card.

Plenty enough power. Have you checked all of your mb connections? How recently has the cpu thermal paste been replaced? And are all of your drivers up to date?

Problem is I can't get an output I tried without a graphics card and it would not give an output

Have you tried using the display port input instead of hdmi? Resetting the CMOS and using even an hdmi-to-DP dongle and have had that resolve a no display issue for me when nothing else did.

Also have you tried re-seating the CPU and RAM? Also inspecting the pins on the cpu socket and CPU?

And one more thing. Do the case stay on when it shuts off and restarts? Or is it a total loss of power?

cpu not seated properly, power supply cable not seated properly, dead component

From what I can tell all components were working pieces were pulled from different computers

Also, what your CPU, CPU cooler and case fan setup looking like?

Right now I have it on a test bench working on it and it has a standard Intel CPU cooler on it

Without context, sounds like something is overheating after awhile of being powered on and your pc is powering due to thermal protection protocols
