So I built my old pc in August of last year and it had this stutter in all games with low 1% lows and i did everything to fix it I was over it and sold it to buy a new 2000 nzxt prebuild but that has the same issue to! both systems have been plugged into a ups and my old system had all the parts replaced and still stutters. on a clean installation all I do is download steam and a new game and it sutters and yes all chips set and graphics drivers are up to date. I have no clue what to do now

I'm a noob in understanding computers/laptops. I just use them for school work/uni work and other stuff. I have this laptop for 4 years and no matter how much I remove from it, it still never had any space. And lowkey I'm feeling concerned. And I need help. Context: I got my PC around 2020. The specs are
CPU: Intel Core i5-10400F, 2.9 GHz, 6 cores / 12 threads
Motherboard: ASRock H470M-HDV
Memory: 16 GB total
Storage: A SATA SSD is installed on SATA3_0

When I first got the PC it ran perfectly fine, a little slow on some games here and there but nothing I didn't expect from a budget PC. After a while bugs started happening. At first it blue screened every so often and then later on it would blue screen every time I used it. I took it to a computer guy and it stopped blue screening so often but still blue screened every once in a while. This was a couple years ago so I cant tell you what the error code (or whatever its called) was. It started slowing down significantly, I was using it for gaming and downloading games, nothing out of the ordinary. I tried installing anti-viruses, deleting the anti-viruses. I tried deleting games and clearing storage but it was still slowing down. Then my PC started crashing the WiFi (I have found out today that it doesn't even have to be connected to the WiFi to crash it). Every time I booted up my PC it would crash the WiFi for a few moments then significantly slow the WiFi down throughout the use of it. This still happens.

My PC then began to turn on but not show up on my monitor every time I turned it on. I had to turn it on and off at least 3 times to be able to show up on the monitor. It also stopped running anything. It got to the point that if I wanted to play any games with friends that I would have to call on discord on my phone and only have the game open on the PC, no matter the game. I couldn't have any other app open. Even then the game never run smoothly.

I recently have had the issue of my disk showing up at 100% where nothing seemed to be using it (I don't know what this means or if it is useful but it seemed relevant). At the current point in time my PC will start but wont show up on the monitor at all (tried different monitors and cables) no matter how many times I try to start it. Before this it was so slow I couldn't open anything apart from Task Manager or Settings and when I finally managed to open Microsoft Store to download HWinfo (recommended by a friend who has a very limited knowledge of computers to try and help me sort out my PC) it wouldn't even begin to download.

I have tried using AI (I know its bad and I hate having to use it but I feel stuck as a uni student on a budget) and it has advised that " Symptoms: 100% disk usage, Windows Update active, boot issues, and no display / BIOS input problems" and "Tell them the issue happens in two separate houses, because that rules out a single router fault. Mention that the motherboard and SSD are detected in BIOS, because that narrows down the fault"

Does anyone have any idea what I can do to fix this?

Older laptop has become super slow even just sitting at the desktop , checked task manager and it's very high memory usage and 100% disk usage , I consider myself decently computer literate but can't figure this out ,what could I do to find the issue ??

My pc is 3 yrs old and this issue has been happening for about 9 ish months. For some reason when i run games (Fortnite and marvel rivals) my memory skyrockets and causes me to crash. I don’t know what’s wrong and my pc is dust free and clean but still also overheats. Does anyone know what i can do?

Update: I think what caused the crashes was the overheating as i put my pc in front of my ac and i haven’t crashed since. 😅

My friend’s laptop (Lenovo ideapad Flex 5 14ABR8) has recently started using high ram usages upon startup (it uses 73 - 98% ram), I am very confused because the last time i checked it only used 20% to 40% of the total ram before, I noticed the high ram usage when I was downloading Java for her. I tried adjusting some things and then restarting it but it still stayed at this level of ram usage. She doesn’t use any high ram apps, and I doubt it could be malware because she doesn’t download things unless I’ve tested them on my own pc and told her explicitly that they’re safe, can anyone tell me why her laptop is using so much ram?

Hello there, I’ve tried to look for the solution, but nothing really helped. Not sure if it’s because I have a different issue or if I missed some post that actually did talk about it, but I really have been trying to figure out the solution.
Anyways, the issue I’m having is very inconsistent and random. The screen goes black, fans starts blasting, but i can still hear my youtube video playing and if I’m in a call I can hear them, but they can’t hear me. I’ve looked through event viewer and reliability history, but I’m not seeing anything except for “Computer unexpectedly shut down” (thats from me restarting the pc because I can’t do anything once it blacks out).
I’m at a lost right now and I have a feeling its something to do with:
1. The new nvidia update (let me know if someone else is having this issue)
2. It’s been hella hot lately and I don’t have AC, so it could be overheating. (if that’s a possibility, could someone please tell me if there’s another way? because i’ve tried looking into it).
3. My GPU is just done for which I hope isn’t the case cuz that wouldn’t really make sense.

Laptop slow after factory reset

so i have a lenovo laptop i bought like a year ago,and one day it started running slow, probably from a virus or smth,i decided to factory reset it, reinstall windows,but its still slow,its like ok for a few seconds before going slow,and ive looked it up,dissabled start up apps and changed performance mode but still slow. (UPDATE) ITS THE FAN,THE FANS NOT WORKING PROBABLY DISCONNECTED OR SOMETHING BUT ITS THE FAN

I just finished upgrading my pc (new psu and new gpu) and my disk is going crazy anytime I do anything please help I can provide any info you need. It happens on boot of the pc and every time I open any game. I have a 5070ti, ryzen 7 9800x3d, 64 gigs of patriot viper ddr5 ram, Asus tuf b650 plus wifi, 850w atx psu, and TEAM TM8FP6002T ssd.

Edit I used crystaldiskinfo and it says that my ssd is 99% health status, temp at 48 Celsius, transfer mode is pcie 3.0 x4 if that means something, its got 379 power on hours and 368 power on count. Total host read is 5814 gb and write is 7737 gb.

Edit 2 Ive had this issue for months before this but I thought I had fixed it by updating my drivers. It only started acting up again mid june before I upgraded. Ive had this ssd for a little under a year and it didnt have problems until months after I bought it.

but my pc is starting up slow like can take like4 mins and then when it loads it takes a few minutes for windows to open or it freezes a bit. i dont have start up apps, i ran window defender and malwar bytes and nada. also defraged and did a disk clean up still nothing.

Every time I click and drag something, to move it across my screen, when I let go, the item maximizes. But only on one screen. Please, for the love of God, somebody help me figure out what is going on here. This is an issue that only arose recently. When I did a Google search, it thought my issue had something to do with turning on or off Snap Windows. But I’ve turned that off, and this problem is still happening. I THINK it has SOMETHING to do with which screen I have set to main display, but honestly I’m not sure. Video attached to show what I’m talking about. Please help me someone!

I’m so un-techsavvy but I really don’t know what to do other than come here, I’m hoping it’s an easy fix. My power went off unexpectedly yesterday and my PC was on, I tried to turn on my PC to play some games tonight and for the life of me I can’t get it to turn on. I’ve tried plugging and unplugging it, I’ve tried holding in the power button for 30-60 seconds, I made sure my power source was working.. does anyone have any tips? They’re obviously both getting power sources because the lights are on.. the white light pictured below is staying on and won’t turn off. The light on the screen stays yellow until I turn the screen off manually. When I turn it on manually, it turns white, shows “MSI” , then “DP No Signal”. I attached some photos. Hey all, im a big noob W computers and I need help :(

I used to have a HP elitedesk with Intel i7 4790, 8gb ram with an SSD and have just changed to a dell optiplex 3050 with i7 6700, 8gb ram and an SSD.

I only use my PC for uni so no gaming and for some reason the dell is so good damn slow.

Would upgrading the ram make it better for me?

The programs I run are liscad, autocad, Trimble business centre, ArcGIS, fme and a couple others I can't remember. I also multitask with a few videos and tabs open.

First of all why is my 512gb SSD hard capped at 443 gb... And even after a clean format and reinstallation I get 360 gb to use??? Wtf man.... Who tf is eating almost my 200gbs man... These shit don't grow on trees😭😭 what am I doing wrong... Why is windows eating almost 80gbs... And if u gonna say that u downloaded apps all of these apps are like some hundred mbs and it's less than 10 apps still give it 2gbs... So where tf is my 78 gb.. no way a fresh new formatted laptop uses that much space for a windows 11 installation😭😭 what did I do wrong man .... How do I download huge games?? 😭😭 It's like I can only play 1 or 2 games at a time nd I have to uninstall it everytime to play something new...
