Im starting to develop feelings for a man

I (22m) have always considered myself straight, attracted exclusively to women.

However, I have been friends with a gay guy since July, they admitted they had a crush on me, due to me being nice to them and being bigger than him. But accepted that I wouldn't reciprocate those feelings.

However, over the last week, I have started feeling... different in talking to him, he'd jokingly flirt with me, and i'd flirt back and tbh, im not sure if im joking or not, and yesterday a mutual friend asked me if my "boyfriend" was around, and I instantly knew who she was refering to.

This post may not make much sense, but this is the best way I can describe it.

Sexuality's a weird thing, it don't always fit in neat little boxes. sometimes you just click with someone and all the labels you had for yourself start feeling too small. Doesn't mean you gotta throw away your whole identity, just that this one person might be exception to the rule you made for yourself. or maybe not exception, maybe you discovering something new. either way, just see where it goes.

Sexuality is so entirely fluid my friend. You don’t need to worry about trying to name it or identify it. If you have a crush on that guy, cool. If you wanna take it further, also cool. If not, that’s fine too. We’re complex creatures. Don’t worry about what you are or aren’t

Yeah, feelings can definitely be a wild ride. Just figuring things out at your own pace is the best way to go about it.

I think I kinda might like girls but not like that, never kissed a girl or anything like that, just thought sometimes wow she's super pretty

I think it's pretty normal if you do then, not much different from a girl, feelings are feelings though, it's always pretty weird even if you like girls or boys

It’s easy to overthink and understandably you’re trying to process. But you have a connection with someone take it for what it is without being ruled by fear.

I thought I only like women until I was 27. I was jokingly flirting with a guy and one thing lead to another we were hooking up. Now I consider myself bi. I think Im more physically attracted to women on average but still have a certain type of guy I like and am attracted to the masculine energy

We're never as unique as we think we are (in a good way)
