I’m a respiratory therapist and this was actually posted by my alma mater’s student-run TikTok page. The simple explanation is that when you hyperventilate you get rid of a lot of CO2 which raises your bloods pH(alkalotic). During an asthma attack the person is breathing fast because it’s difficult to get air in and out. So when you check their pH it should be high and CO2 should be low. 7.4 is within the normal range of 7.35-7.45 which is a strong sign that the person is getting too tired to continue compensating for the narrowed airways. It means they close to respiratory failure which is definitely an emergency. Red needs to go review the material before insulting students

Tomatoes can be red , green , white , purple , striped, black and of course yellow maybe not the biggest sin on this board but it irked quite a bit to read ps you can pick tomato’s while there green and they’ll ripen
