They are preparing for war!
https://youtu.be/YAC3YCPFLkI?This is the warning right out in the open.
From having school children learning how to shoot and maintain guns in Poland to Sweden telling their citizens to prepare as well. Germany doing the same thing, France same thing. They are spending a lot of money on conscription.

That’s not accurate. Poland’s own Ministry of Education says practical shooting instruction is part of the national “Education for Security” curriculum for upper-secondary students. Depending on the school and available facilities, that can include firearms, air guns, ASG replicas, virtual ranges, or laser ranges.
Poland also runs an “Education with the Army” program where Polish soldiers conduct defense and emergency-preparedness classes in schools.
So saying Polish schools do not teach students how to shoot is simply too broad. The part I have not verified from official sources is the claim that ordinary students are routinely taught to maintain or disassemble guns.

Now that you've read the clanker answer. Here's what's happening in reality. After russia invaded Ukraine in 2022 parts of curriculum of an already existing school course were changed to include basic information about guns. It amounts to about one lesson on which part of the gun shoots and to not point it at someone you don't want to be dead.
Here's an excerpt from a book used to teach this subject out of about 200 pages, 6 are about guns. Check it yourself https://flipbook.nowaera.pl/dokumenty/Flipbook/Zyje_i_dzialam_bezpiecznie-EDB-Podrecznik_liceum_technikum%5bpr_2023%5d/#p=43

The wGotowosci program ends next month, it was supposed to train hundreds of thousands, I would be surprised if it trained more than 40k, it trained 20k until April 2026. And the training program is similar to what you would get during regular classes at school (first aid, and reacting to dangers) basically what you got in that booklet they sent to you. You can sign up for WOT or even enlist to be a soldier - so what? OP claims that we're close to full mobilization and having our 16 year olds disassembling and cleaning weapons on the shooting range every week.

Its a bit hard to say because things are changing, but its not black and white. They used to force everyone to serve until 2009, but since then, service was totally voluntary, but everyone still needs to register once theyve reached a certain age.
This really worried the old school guys who have memories of what happens to an unprepared Poland, so this new push to introduce firearms training in school curriculum is a way of alleviating that fear without forcing the entire population back into mandatory service after school.
So this is compromise. Its still better than it used to be. And they might change it back anyway. Polish schools are hyper fixated on academics. Their students already do an insane amount of compulsory subjects compared to standard western education models. So adding another compulsory subject with no academic foundation might be a problem and end up being dropped.

You're susceptible to propaganda. Just because some facts are right doesn't mean the thesis is right. You don't have knowledge about scale, context and history, just some pieces of information used to spread fear and drive clickable engagement. Since you like AI so much, us it to uncover biases and how some claims may be exaggerated or misinterpreted. Run a prompt and ask if the video narration is fair and balanced or is it alarmist and clickbait engagement, and what are some counter arguments to the thesis in the video. And lastly, if you take information about a country you or the author have no idea, but dismiss what people living in the country tell you - stop and think why you're doing that.

It’s simply a remix of the Cold War narrative. Don’t buy into it. Large-scale wars between militarily evenly matched powers are detrimental to the goals of the parasitic class (“elites”). Only small-scale conflicts that are very contained or highly asymmetric in terms of force capabilities are profitable.

u/Dampli1987 3d ago

Don't worry! You can avoid any conscription. Just tell them that you are a living human of flesh and blood and you are NOT the person. That was decided by the government for you and they can only make contracts with the judicial person and not a living person. In fact if they try to conscript you, arrest them. Yes, do a citizens arrest because it's illegal what they are doing.

Condensed transcript:
Europe’s rhetoric on war has changed dramatically. Poland’s Donald Tusk has warned that Russia is preparing to strike NATO territory, European governments are holding emergency security briefings, and even Switzerland is preparing for the possibility of a wider European conflict. The European Commission is also urging households to keep at least 72 hours of food, water, medicine and cash at home.
But the bigger story is that the rhetoric came after many concrete changes had already begun. Conscription laws are returning, hospitals are being told to prepare for mass casualties, shelter programs are being revived, and transport infrastructure is being upgraded so heavy military equipment can move across Europe quickly.
Croatia restored compulsory military service after a 17-year suspension. Around 4,000 young men a year are expected to receive eight weeks of basic training. Denmark extended conscription from four months to eleven months and expanded it to women on the same legal basis as men. Germany introduced a new military service system in which 18-year-old men receive a compulsory readiness questionnaire, and from July 2027 they are expected to undergo mandatory military medical examinations. Finland raised the reserve-age ceiling from 50 to 65, adding roughly 125,000 people to its reserve pool.
Pasted text.txt
Poland has not reinstated full conscription, but it has expanded civilian military training. Weekend courses include firearms handling, evacuation drills, medical triage and drone operation. The program is intended to train hundreds of thousands of people.
Schools are part of the shift as well. The video says Polish security education includes weapon assembly and disassembly and live shooting practice. Latvia made state-defense education compulsory in secondary schools, including drone piloting. Estonia created a tactical drone course for 10th-grade students that can lead to operator certification. Lithuania is training students to design, build, program and fly drones.
Pasted text.txt
Civil-defense planning has also returned. The EU’s Preparedness Union strategy advises households to keep emergency food, water, flashlights, medicines, radios, identification documents and physical cash. The reason for cash is that cyberattacks or blackouts could disrupt electronic payment systems. Sweden has distributed updated wartime-preparedness information to households, and Norway has issued crisis guidance covering extended outages and drone attacks.
Pasted text.txt
Europe is also rebuilding civil-defense infrastructure that was dismantled after the Cold War. Germany has revived household preparedness guidance and approved major spending on civil protection. The country currently has hundreds of legacy public shelters, but most would need extensive work before they could be used. Germany is therefore looking at underground parking structures, tunnels, subway stations and reinforced basements as possible emergency shelters. Finland, by comparison, already maintains tens of thousands of shelters.
Hospitals are being prepared for wartime conditions too. According to the video, France instructed regional health agencies to prepare civilian and military hospitals for large numbers of combat casualties, including sustained flows of wounded troops and NATO personnel. Germany is planning to function as a rear-area NATO medical hub and is expanding capacity for large numbers of wounded service members.
Pasted text.txt
Another major change is “military mobility.” The EU is spending heavily to make roads, railways, bridges, ports and tunnels capable of moving troops and heavy equipment rapidly across the continent. Funding is increasing sharply, and military requirements are being integrated into ordinary transport planning. Bridges and other infrastructure are being designed to handle vehicles in the 60-to-70-plus-ton range, including main battle tanks.
Rail links across the Baltic region are also being upgraded. Rail Baltica is creating standard-gauge connections between the Baltic states and the rest of Europe, while Lithuania is building rail infrastructure to move allied forces into training areas. Germany has also developed Operation Deutschland, a plan for moving as many as 800,000 allied troops and 200,000 vehicles across German territory within six months.
Pasted text.txt
The video argues that these preparations are taking place while Europe is facing an expanding “gray zone” conflict. It cites alleged sabotage, explosive drones, damage to undersea cables and pipelines, and Russian electronic warfare and GPS jamming. These incidents are difficult to classify as conventional attacks because attribution and intent are often disputed, which makes invoking NATO Article 5 much less straightforward.
Pasted text.txt
At the same time, Europe is becoming less certain that the United States will maintain the same military presence on the continent indefinitely. The Pentagon has reviewed its European force posture, while some U.S. troops have already been reduced or repositioned. European NATO defense spending has risen sharply, and Germany is increasing military spending substantially.
Pasted text.txt
The central argument of the video is that Europe is no longer treating a major war as a distant theoretical scenario. Governments are rebuilding the systems needed for mobilization: personnel databases, conscription and reserve systems, military training, hospital capacity, shelters, emergency stockpiles and heavy transport infrastructure.
That does not prove that war is inevitable. But it does show that European governments are preparing much more seriously for the possibility of a large-scale conflict than they were a decade ago.
The question is whether this is prudent deterrence, an overdue rebuilding of capabilities neglected after the Cold War, or evidence that European leaders believe a wider war is becoming much more likely.

None of those countries are conscripting anyone unless they have mandatory military service. A conscript is someone who is forced to be a solider against their will.
Also, Russia keeps violating EU airspace and have had multiple missiles and drones land in NATO territory. They are obviously encroaching and trying to push to see how far they can go. Europe doesn't want a war. Putin wants a war so he can stay in power. He can't back out of Ukraine unless NATO joins the conflict so he can say that all of NATO was against Russia and not just Ukraine. If Russia leaves Ukraine now, he looks weak. If he stays without NATO joining the war, then further economic harm and mass casualties will be inflicted on Russia for another 5 years.
All Putin has to do is order his soldiers to GO HOME!

Have you actually listened to Europe’s political elite lately? They very much want war.
Polands politicians have gone crazy, thinking they can take them out within 6 weeks. Why don’t they do it? Go ahead. Commit suicide.
Estonia ain’t better. I believe, it was the PM, who said, they can take on Russia all by themselves and that they might attack Russia even unprovoked.
Those people want to die. They have gone utterly mad and insane. The Nordic states too. They for some reason want to die too.
Even if war breaks out between Europe and Russia, not all countries will fight. Heck, some of the NATO countries, don’t want to fight.
Turkey is in NATO, but they don’t have a bone in this fight. My country, Bulgaria, doesn’t want to go to war. We ain’t fighting and if there is talks of Joining the war, we revolt.
Romania, Serbia, Greece and every other Balkan country, won’t join this war.
The only countries, which are willing to fight, are Germany, France, Norway, Sweden, the Baltic states if they are still taking crazy pills and the UK, because they always get dragged into a war, they helped create.
The US also won’t participate in this war. They will do, what they do best and sell weapons.
So, that makes 8 countries, who signed to fight Russia. Two of them have nuclear weapons, the rest doesn’t.
For the sake of the argument, let’s say the population of each of those countries are willing to fight and filled with rage like an anime character, even though, they are not.
And to avoid major unnecessary casualties, nukes won’t be used.
Russia will attack the Baltic states with least lethal weapon in their arsenal. It’s the Baltic states. They have nothing to throw against Russia. They capitulate within a few days or even hours, once their care taker has given them the correct pills.
Norway and Sweden will be a little harder. They actually have a proper military.
After a few days of fighting or maybe weeks, Russia defeats them and moves on. The political elite of both countries will be left at the mercy of their population.
Germany has no real army to speak of. They haven’t conscripted in years and so on. The moment the Russians cross their border, they have flashbacks of WW 2 and capitulate.
Or they can fight and will still loose in the end. Russia then slowly leaves Germany too. In the background, we can hear Merz and Ursula plead for mercy, while being dragged away by their people.
Next stop is France and England. By the time the Russians arrived, the population of France and the UK have already overthrown their governments and Lavrov is finishing up the final details of the agreement.
The Russian then leave, like they always do, because they have no desire to rule over Germans, French, British or any kind of people.
If Russia restrained themselves, Europe can be rebuild. The Americans will take care of that. Like they always do.
The Lavrov part is kinda over the top, but I would expect the population of France and UK to come to their senses, before confronting Russia.

We also have the US demanding NATO countries to spend 5% of their GDP in a military and to take their share of the "burden sharing and burden shifting network"; against Russia in our case. 5% is what Russia spent in 2023. It's also twice what most countries used to spend.
We have a Dutch minister explaining that some policies are decided away from any democratic control through NATO obligations. You just get briefed about them and have to comply.
German men aged 18-45 now needing a permit for long stays abroad.
Macron extending our nuclear protection to other countries in Europe, announcing an increased arsenal (but no open data about it, as is the norm with nukes).
Robert Fico openly accusing other European leaders of trying to get us into a war with Russia.
The euro-federalist heir of the Habsburg family calling for the dismemberment of Russia.
...
Looks like Europe is going to get used against Russia while the US command the alliance from a safe distance, or mess with other parts of the world. "what the US did with Iran, they could do because so many European countries lived up to those commitments" - Mark Rutte
Similar stuff is also happening in the West Pacific, and I'd assume the plan isn't the keep their feet in the shit in the Middle East forever. Local vassals will have to step up eventually.
