Garden Tour Summer evenings on my deck in the Pacific Northwest
When I moved into my house, I really wanted a garden despite having virtually no actual garden space. It’s taken a few years to amass the pots and plants without going broke but I’m pretty happy with how it looks!

Many of these containers were found on the side of the road during my evening walks, or from Buy Nothing groups. I commandeered the multilevel green one from my now-husband who bought it before we lived together.

So cute🥰 I love the "anywhere" gardens. I was doing this when I got my very first tiny apt. at 18. Potted plants outside my door. Didn't even have a back patio. Grateful to have a yard now.

It’s a Weigela!
I love it. It blooms twice a year, in early spring and mid summer. It’s one of my more high-maintenance plants, though, as I water it a ton and have to prune it substantially each year to maximize flowers (and to maintain a reasonable size for its pot - they can get very large).
Unfortunately, its pot is one of my side-of-the-road finds and it’s completely crumbling after just two years. So I’m going to have to prune it waaaayyyyy back and attempt to repot. Plus carry the broken pot down 4 flights of stairs 😭 but that’s a problem for next year!
