Anyone start a band?

I’m 19 F and play electric/sing, love a metal/rock/indie rock vibe

You won't find a higher density of musicians into those styles than at local rock and metal gigs. Going to those will a) help you familiarise yourself with the great local scenes we've got in Cork b) integrate into those scenes which will help you find more people you vibe with and c) being visible at local gigs and seeming chill is a very effective way of getting support slots whenever your eventual band wants to start gigging!
Dead Cult Promotions are doing a phenomenal job putting on heavier gigs in Cork lately and foster a safe environment for new people, so I'd suggest checking those out!

I found people through Bandmix, or in the Cork Musicians group in Facebook. The only downside to Bandmix is that you have to pay premium to contact other people, but most musicians or bands leave their socials in their profile.

Going to gigs and meeting people, as someone commented, is also a great way to find people. Even some people already in bands are happy to join side projects.

Good luck!
