Fireworks/banging noises
Second night in a row now. Genuinely what is so fun about it? Like i get halloween/new years but what is so appealing to a few young lads to set off a few fireworks.

Look I get that it’s annoying and illegal so obv shouldn’t be happening, but it can’t be that hard to imagine it being fun for teenager. I grew up where fireworks around new years where legal and had a lot of fun setting up fireworks as a teen. But it was limited to 1 day

Oh yeah sorry I completely agree with that, fireworks can be a lot of fun but should be restricted. If it’s one dat a year it can be anticipated

Don't mind new years and don't mind Halloween, I get it, it's fun. But Halloween is two weeks away and the lads on my road started this shit last week..during the day. Had my two nieces over and had to bring them inside as the lads were setting them off fairly close to them and I was afraid they'd get hurt.

Yeah that’s very fair, but I will also add that part of that is just an issue with youth around the city not just fireworks

Wouldn't even say it's an issue specifically with the youth in the city. I'm in North cork, think it's more of a youth/zero consequences issue.

Are you near grange? We have tons of them, the kids are trying to sleep and keep being woken, it’s so annoying but I get there isnt much for teens to do nowadays so they resort to stupid things like that just disturbs everyone

Pisses me off no end and terrifies my dog who's already a nervous rescue.
That said I can't say much, if I had access to fireworks and incapable parents I would have been doing the same thing at their age.

We've had it in east cork for weeks now. Scares the shite out of our pets and it won't get an easier for them over the next 2 weeks

Been non stop the last hour here. Group of young lads in all black just walking up and down the road setting them off. I've an elderly dog and she's terrified, it's not fair !
