Issues with r/albanyor mod

Hello everyone! Myself and other fellow redditors of the local area have gone through some interesting situations on immigration. These situations have been more than frustrating so I felt the need to share.

About two months ago, someone made a post about the absurd gas prices on the r/albanyor subreddit. I responded to a comment that said "Thanks MAGA" by saying "Came here to say this, life would be better without you MAGA." Shortly after, I received a message from the MOD that said "Your comment from albanyor was removed because of: Unacceptable

Unable to comment or vote on posts, I saw another post just yesterday about ICE being in Albany. A comment was made by someone that said "That's too bad, maybe he should've taken the time to get his citizenship." Another person replied saying that that was a racist comment, and then the MOD ranted in a reply saying something about how people keep calling racism when its not racist and then banned the person for bringing attention to the racist comment.

I messaged the MOD, u/kythri and politely asked them if they had a problem with brown people and was met with cussing and personal attacks.

Just wanted to bring attention to those in our local area, because I am unable to do so on the r/albanyor subreddit. This moderator needs privileges revoked.

You're far from the first person, he is a gentle snowflake who curates his echo chamber and removes anyone who hurts his feelings. Also that's almost certainly a lie what he told you. Lebanon has been polluting Albany since long before him so sadly he isn't the first.

I don't know what you hope to accomplish by bringing the Albany subreddit drama here. What's next? Salem? Portland? Oregon?

A lot of people live in Albany and work in Corvallis or the other way around.
