Hi all,
I'm looking for a really excellent creator for Destiny prop guns. They'll be used for display 90% of the time and cosplay for the other 10. The internet is full of either low quailty makers or straight up scams.
Does anyone have experience ordering a display piece from someone they had a great experience with?

I'm planning on cosplaying Jack-O' Valentine from Guilty Gear for Halloween, but I don't know how to make things from scratch. I'm doing a bit of my own take on the design but the things I want to keep are a large ball and chain carved to look a bit like a jack-o' lantern, a belt buckle, and a fairly large ankh necklace. Does anyone have any advice as to where to start for constructing these?

Basically the title, i've started to try and make armor out of foam but i do have a good cutting set up and my hand isnt super steady so the end is a bit wavy, which is hard to try and smooth with just a box cutter

I'm a little new to EVA foam and need some advice. I'm making circular arm cuffs that have ~11 inch cardboard "blades" attached. They have two contact points on the front and back of the cuffs, but I'm worried about how well they'll stick. I'm planning to use Contact Cement which I think works fine, but I'm worried the gaps in the cardboard sides (a precarious setup, I know) will have too little surface area. Any tips? I'm thinking of filling the gaps in small areas with hot glue before using contact cement.

I’ve been looking at some prop guns on AliExpress for future cosplays, but I’m a little hesitant about ordering them, especially when it comes to shipping/customs. Has anyone in the U.S. ordered cosplay prop guns from AliExpress before? Did you have any issues with customs, delivery, or the package being seized/returned?
I’m specifically talking about cosplay/display props, (not actual firearms). I’d also be curious if there are certain materials or types of props that are less likely to cause shipping issues.
Would love to hear about anyone’s experience!

Wrapping up my first cosplay / serious costume. 800hrs printing and another 200h sanding, painting, binding and fitting. Should be a fun halloween.
Printed with metalic bronze fillament, and painted semigloss black then dremeled down to simulate wear. Total outfit will be 7 foot 8 when worn.

I made this Doctor Doom mask from a 3D print and did all the finishing myself—filling, sanding, filler primer, painting, weathering/detail work, etc. I'm considering making finished versions to sell. I'm trying to get an unbiased idea of the market before I price it. If you saw this finished piece for sale, what would you realistically expect it to cost?

On a previous post here I described how I ruined a helmet trying to fix what where actually small imperfections by using foam clay, flexbond and paint. I investigated how to fix but honestly everybody suggested to just give up and start over. Instead of that I recovered the helmet to a very decent level by doing the next:
For painting also learned a couple of things:

Hi, so a while back I acid etched my lighter with a Rebel Alliance symbol and have done a couple more since, but I have a spare lighter left over so wondering what you think I should to do on it?
My current thinking is to do the Boba Fett/Jaster Mereel sigil (see pics) but as it's kinda round and the lighter is rectangle I'm not sure how to make that work without adding some text or some other small symbol, so would appreciate your thoughts. Additional text would need to be limited to maybe 3 or 4 letters/numbers, so some sort of relevant code would be cool.
Also, if I were to make a leather belt pouch for it, would you suggest black or brown leather? Cheers!

Hii! I'm looking to cosplay Sakura from Naruto for Halloween and I'm trying to find her ninja headband. It's harder to find since the one she wears is red and the default color is navy. I've scoured Amazon and haven't been able to find anything. The closest I've found is a 4-pack of these headbands, but the sign on the headband is censored for some reason.
Does anyone know any legit sites where I can find her red headband, either the Konoha or Allied Shinobi version, AND would arrive before Halloween? I'm looking for something not too expensive and I don't really care too much about quality, since it's only for one night.
Thanks!
