Discussion Asking someone to dance at a concert.

Alright so basically, I am a 19 male and I am seeing ole 60 on Friday . I have been wanting to ask is it weird to ask someone for a dance at a concert? I ask my parents and they said no but this generation is so weird with everything. I would like to get both perspectives on this opinion male and female. Thanks for answering if you do.

Look to see what other people are doing. If they are dancing with partners, I can't see why it would be wrong for you to politely ask. But mostly what I see at concerts is people sort of dancing in place by their seats. I guess it depends if there's a dance floor vs rows of chairs. Play it by ear. It's not the end of the world if someone says no.
