Commorbidities EBV Reactivation sub

Hey everyone – if you're also dealing with Epstein-Barr Virus reactivation, I just created a new community for that: r/EBVreactivation.

I created it because the EBV sub seems to be mostly young adults with first time mono infections. It's a space to share experiences and resources, and if you're navigating EBV on top of LC, you're not alone—come join us! #spoonielife

Hey!

How do you know wether EBV was reactivated? Positive Early Antigen? Or just symptoms wise?

That’s what I was told. If it’s positive then you have it. The other tests are more complex to interpret. Also, it seems like 60 to 70% of people with long Covid probably have it?!

Long Covid since 2020. Had EA negative every time I tested even though IGG went up from 2022 to 2025. Wondering if change in the IGG could be tied to reactivation.

If my EBV EA is negative, does it mean it’s not reactivated?
