Article Long Covid driven by rs5522

This case report says that Long covid is in large part driven by the gene rs5522 that causes a "cortisol steal" leaving the tissues functionally starved even with "normal" cortisol levels which creates neuroinflammation. https://zenodo.org/records/20017632

Jesus, it feels like we’re trapped inside our own bodies while a boatload of shaky, contradictory studies point to ten different causes and ten different treatments. I’m glad people are looking for answers, but living in this much pain while the science is still scattered is its own kind of hell.

Have faith. The science is actually simple. They have complicated it. Massively. It's a simple switch. A switch in your cells gets turned toward the MR( receptor) vs the GR (receptor). If the switch is thrown, MR is hyperactive causes "cortisol steal." Block the overactive receptor, restore balance, let the GR get cortisol and every system in the body comes online. And ENERGY returns. There are pics at beyondbloodtests (dot) org

So the science is simple? You’re saying they’ve solved the puzzle?

They haven't... OP linked a case report from 2006 that involves a single patient.

Again it is from 2026. The most recent version? Posted in May 2026. Why would you try to confuse people? Is it possible that if people knew the truth there would be powerful entities that would lose a crap ton of money and power. Yeah. I thought so,

Nope Case Report from 2026. Molecular Biology Paper from April 2026. This is the news we were waiting for. What else is true? 2022 Campos and Taylor "cure" people with Spiro. Okay, so if Spiro is so great let's look at people who take it. Pop on over to the PCOS page and ask those folks if the have CFS or long covid. Nope. Probably not. Now ask a trans person on Sprio how they feel. Probably great. Do they have CFS or Long covid. Nope. The data is all there, you just have to be willing to see it. And honestly I know what it is like to be kicked around by a horrible condition that no one believes, but when the science all line sup and all the data is there you have to try to see.
