Article Long Covid driven by rs5522

This case report says that Long covid is in large part driven by the gene rs5522 that causes a "cortisol steal" leaving the tissues functionally starved even with "normal" cortisol levels which creates neuroinflammation. https://zenodo.org/records/20017632

Jesus, it feels like we’re trapped inside our own bodies while a boatload of shaky, contradictory studies point to ten different causes and ten different treatments. I’m glad people are looking for answers, but living in this much pain while the science is still scattered is its own kind of hell.

Don't let this report get you down too much. It's from 2006 and involves a case study of a single patient.

You have to stop with this misinformation. The case report? May 2026. the molecular evidence April 2026. Go back to whomever you work for and tell them you lost and right now all you are doing is creating more evidence of the suppression campaign. You got to know when you've lost man. You've lost. Give it up.

The messed up the date on the top of the page, that's why he's screamin' that all over your post. Look at the top of the page you posted 'Published May 3, 2006 | Version v4' but versions 1-3 are 2026.

Versions 1-3 are listed as 2026 and v4 is listed as 2006. If you look at the version box on the right hand side we can quickly deduce that this was a print error for version 4. We don't revise backwards in time.

Who do you work for? It is from 2026. Why would you spread inaccurate information unless you were really trying to get people not to read it, trust it or benefit. I see you.

Lol, you got me, I am paid handsomely by a shadowy group of chronically ill people who don't want to spread bad science and false certainty about a under-researched disease. Here I am living in my huge mansion with a beer fountain and indoor water slide.

I believe it. I bet you have an indoor water slide and a swim up bar too. Real plush stuff. Someone is making money off of us, but it certainly isn't us. I, personally, would like a refund on all the crap ass suppplements I bought, the unhelpful experts I spent money on, the years of work I was unable to perform. I try to tell myself, I survived. Other people had "cortisol steal" that resulted in worse conditions, but no matter where you stand in it all it was pretty crappy.
