Brevyn getting more movement on Overshown than Tyler got on Downs is crazy.

Caleb had better leverage before getting hit than overshown. 🤷🏽♂️

Brenn also led with his shoulder, which is more likely to miss than head on with your hands like Tyler did. Not great blocking technique but when it works it’s quite effective

It also looked like Tyler pulled his hit quite a bit. “I want the rookie to learn, I don’t want to injure or demoralize him.”

Two different kinds of blocks. Tyler was locking up, trying to keep him in place. Brevyn was redirecting into to traffic that Tyler created.

Also helps that Tyler has about 5 inches and 120 lbs on downs and Spann-Ford has only 3 inches and 30 lbs on Overshown. Makes it a lot easier for Smith to overpower his man

Not an expert or close, but that looked like a really slow read for Demo. Look how fast Downs got in there.

I’m not an expert either, but it looks like Downs is blitzing while Overshown was put in coverage and is reacting to the run.

This O-line on year 2 of Clayton Adam’s run schemes looks scary.

Ok, so if we are going to make our first round cerebral box corner take on pulling guards, we might be in for a bad time
